Root Method for LG Android Lollipop / Kitkat


DP ROOT - LG is Windows application to root LG Smartphone based on Lollipop and Kitkat firmware. The application made by danielpinto8zz6. He has written the he converted a lg root script to a GUI version because of the script was very useful and he converted to GUI to make it more simple.

The LG One Click Root application will work on Android LG Kitkat and Lollipop based phones, Please don't use this application on LG phone that have later version of Android software installed. Please download required files from links below.

How to root LG using DP ROOT

1. Install LG drivers

Go to Settings > General > About phone > Software information, tap Build number seven times and then go to Settings > Developer options and turn on Usb debugging

2. Enable USB debugging

3. Open DP ROOT

4. Click on “ROOT DEVICE”

It will take a few minutes, just wait, and your LG should be rooted
NOTE:
After root, if you want for some reason (warranty etc) to unroot the phone, all you need to do is a full unroot from the SuperSU settings.

I don't know if this is enough to get OTA updates back, I'm still waiting for somebody else to answer this question. so please don't ask me about this any more because I really don't know the answer. Do all at your own risk.

LG F350S Official Firmware


Actually i was in search of LG G Pro 2 F350S official firmware and i found little difficulty to search this firmware on internet. So i am going write how to find LG firmware by imei. You can download any LG Smartphone firmware by following this tutorial and also LG G Pro 2 F350S firmware which is being searched by you.

How To find the latest LG firmware with IMEI?

The method is being described below is for LG official firmware. it's a web based response from LG server with firmware link.


Example: “http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=xxx”
Replace xxx in above URL with your phone’s IMEI, then copy and paste the complete URL into the browser address bar and press enter to locate the firmware. If your IMEI is correct and the firmware is available on LG server, then you will get response like picture blow.


As shown in above screenshot, the latest firmware for LG F350S is F350S20F_00.kdz and the download URL is

Copy the download URL and start a new download job in IDM (Internet Download Manager).
  1. Press add URL
  2. Paste link
  3. Press OK
  4. Done!
Your LG F350S firmware file downloading will be started. file size is 1.38GB approximately. Wait till your firmware downloading is completed.

LG G5 Restart Problem Fix Permanently



If your Smartphone failed to boot normally and stuck or restarting on boot logo, This failure called boot loop. In this post i will try to show some steps to clear boot loop problem in your LG smartphone or any other brand. To fix boot loop problem in your LG smartphone you need to follow these steps. I suggest you to read whole post before starting. Please keep in mind do all at your own risk, i ma not responsible for and damage.

Steps:
1. Loose Battery connection
2. Software Customization
3. Faulty Battery
4. Poor Hardware


1- Loose Battery connection:

If your cellphone is being restarted at startup logo or shutting down automatically in your pocket you should first check battery connectors both cellphone’s and battery side.
Because of dust or due to touching battery on tongue by mistake. Some people thinks that they can test battery current by touching it on their tongue. But they don’t know they are actually destroying battery and terminals. So it should be a first reason of boot loop problem.
Solution!
Clean terminals on both battery and cellphone side.

2- Software Customization:

If have done any customization in you cellphone software like root, custom recovery, custom rom and your cellphone is now stuck on startup logo or being restarted after logo, This called boot loop due to software customization.
This problem can only be recovered via loading correct software (Official firmware), please never ever try to play with you cellphone board. There is no hardware fix if you have bricked your phone due to root, flashing custom recovery or custom rom. 3- Faulty Battery:

In my experience as a cellphone technician, I have seen and fixed lots of smartphones with restarting  problem at boot logo by replacing or modify cellphone battery.

Why Mostly Smartphones Restarting on Faulty Battery?
Almost all smartphone batteries comes with self protection circuit. Some manufacturers using a resistor in series at GND line to protect battery from short circuit, over load etc. some times this resistor loose it’s resistance due to over heating. Then this resistor will not pass enough current to the phone, and phone starts rebooting on startup logo.

How to Restart Fault is due to battery?
In my experience we noticed that mostly phone stop rebooting while connected to charger. So if your cellphone is working fine during connected charger, and start rebooting immediately or in few seconds when charger being disconnected. It must be due to faulty battery or loose battery connections.


Solution!
Change your cellphone battery and you’ve done! If can’t change battery with new one then you can fix this problem by shorting big resistor used in series at GND line. Watch this video to understand.

4- Poor Hardware:

This is true that mostly LG phone users facing boot loop problem due poor hardware parts and logic board assembly by manufacturer. Boot loop problem is become famous from LG G3 series phones and later models.

Unbrick LG G4 Hard bricked

Hello dear friends today i am going to post LG G4 HS-USB Qdloader 9008 fix method without any box, So if you have bricked your LG G4 by playing with bootloader, LG G4 bricked during installing wrong firmware or custom rom. You can unbrick LG G4 without any professional device. Let's start. . .
Before starting the LG G4 unbrick process please make sure you have installed qhsusb_dload_drivers in your PC. If you have not installed qhsusb_dload_Drivers before please install qhsusb_dload_Drivers.

How to force bricked LG G4 to Emergency download mode?

To connect hard bricked LG G4 in emergency download mode we have two methods.
  1. By shorting TP to GND 
  2. By key combination
1- How to force LG G4 to Emergency D/L mode via TP?
Open phone and short two points that are shown in picture below. Then connect USB cable. Computer will ask for QHSUSB_DLOAD Drivers. Now you can install QHSUSB_DLOAD Drivers if you have not installed already.






2- How to force LG G4 to Emergency D/L mode via Key combination?
We can force LG G4 to Emergency D/L mode by pressing Vol +, Vol - and Power key. Sometime this method also work to enter in Qualcomm emergency download mode.




After successful driver installation you will see Qualcomm HS-USB Qdloader 9008 port in device manager, If you still not have Qualcomm port check drivers

If you deselect Show Non Diagnostic Port, only the "Diagnostic" or "QDLoader" port will be visible

LG G4 Bootloop Fix

In this video i have described all information about LG bootloop, I have fixed so many LG phones with bootloop problem. So i have made this video for people who facing bootloop problem in LG phones specially in LG G4. This video is about poor LG batteries quality. Lg and some other Smartphones have poor battery circuits in side battery and that is the reason of mostly phone restart after showing LG logo. I have seen 55% LG bootloop problem comes from battery.

How to conform that bootloop problem is due to battery?

If you noticed that LG phone restarting after showing LG logo and working good when charger is connected. mean when we connect charger to phone and then power on phone booting normally. and when we disconnect charger phone start restarting again.


Why bootloop comes in mostly LG Mobile phones?

Because of poor quality batteries and hardware. but in this video i have described about bootloop fix via battery. In LG Smartphone batteries manufacture used and 0 ohm resistor for protection and overload. in most cases this resister gone weak and increased it's resistance. and when this resistor increase it's resistance then battery can provide full current to phone phone. and phone start bootloop when battery not provide enough power to phone. that is the reason of bootloop due to low battery current.

How to Unlock LG Risio 2 LG-M154 With Z3X



In this post i am going to shared unlock method of LG Risio 2 using z3x box, So you can continue if you have z3x box with lg activation. If you have not z3x with lg activation you can learn from this post also. you can use any LG service device, This connection method of lg android phone with pc is same for every device.

 1. Go to to the phone dialer and enter *#546368#*154#
2. Click on SVC Menu
3. Click on Port Check Test and enable
4. Go back to LG Tool and click on Manual Choice of Models in the options section
5. Select the LG USB port in the port drop down
6. Select Search phone and you should get phone information. Make a note of your imei number
7. Click Unlock
8. After process completes, your IMEI will probably be 0
9. If this is the case, run 0 IMEI Fix in Repair section
10. Reboot phone and you should be unlocked

Convert lg F180 to E975

Convert F180 S/K/L to E975 – LG Optimus G
F180 S/K/L is the Korean version of E975, LG Optimus G. Both of these models have got exactly the same hardware except that F180 also supports LTE. F180′s original official firmware is great for use in Korea but for those who are using F180 in other parts of the world, and for those who aren’t Korean, it can be a pain to use F180 with official Korean firmware at times.

Just like all other Korean phones, SMS is limited to 90 characters and you will not be able to send larger texts than that. Also, there is a lot of carrier specific bloatware in the official firmware. The default dialer is also a bit unpleasant to the eyes as it displays Korean characters on every dialer key. There is also the old, famous, “Call to Korea” problem.

Those who have used any Korean smartphone previously will easily understand what I am talking about. So, converting your F180 S/K/L to E975 will get rid of all of the regional problems for you. Also, as we’ll be flashing the official E975 firmware, it will be rock-solid unlike most of the custom roms and you will also be receiving automatic updates over WiFi.
Guide

Regardless of which firmware you are currently running on your F180, you will need to download and switch to the corresponding one from the list below:


F180S : F180S20B_00.kdz
F180K : F180K20B_00.kdz
F180L : F180L20H_00.kdz
Tip: You can find your phone’s model by going to ‘Settings > About > Phone identity’ in Android.
Warning: Make sure your phone’s battery is at least charged 80%. Don’t proceed otherwise as LG Optimus G comes with non-removable battery and thus you won’t be able to easily swap the battery if it dies in the middle of the process.
It is mandatory that you factory reset your phone before proceeding. For doing so, go to ‘Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset’. Please keep in mind that doing so will wipe your phone including contacts, messages, mails, applications and all the data on your phone’s internal storage. Your phone will reboot twice. Let it boot after factory reset. Once you are on the language selection screen, power off your phone
Press and hold down ‘Volume Up’ + ‘Volume Down’ and while inserting USB cable in to the phone. This will get you to S/W download mode on LG F180.
Now you need to flash the firmware you downloaded earlier. Please refer to the guide here:

Once the KDZ firmware is successfully flashed, your phone will reboot automatically. Once it fully boots up, go through the setup procedure and again factory reset it as you already did once.
Once you are on the language selection screen, power off your phone
Once again, put your phone in download mode


For converting your phone to E975, we’ll be flashing this E975 Hong Kong KDZ:

Follow the same procedure for flashing KDZ as you did earlier.
Once the KDZ flash is successful, go through the set-up procedure. Now go to ‘Settings > Storage’ and make sure your internal storage is being listed there. If it shows “0.00 GB” there, don’t panic. Power off your phone. Once completely off, press and hold down ‘Volume Down’ + ‘Power’ buttons until the phone displays a hard reset screen. Release ‘Volume Down’ and press ‘Power’ twice for resetting your phone.
Your phone will reboot once again and your phone’s internal storage will be back to normal.
Now you need to root your phone. Please refer to our LG Optimus G universal rooting guide here:

Once you are done with rooting process, make sure you reboot your phone at least once if it doesn’t reboot automatically.
Now we will be flashing LG F180 baseband. Download your corresponding baseband backup from the list below:


F180S Baseband
F180K Baseband
F180L Baseband


Unzip the downloaded archive and you will find a batch file named ‘modem-flash’ inside it. Make sure ‘USB Debugging’ is enabled on your phone and your phone is in ‘Charge only’ mode while connected to the PC. Run the ‘modem-flash’ batch file.
Keep an eye on your phone screen as you will need to tap the grant permission button on SuperSU pop-up. If you miss the pop-up as it expires after 10 sec, run ‘modem-flash’ batch file again.
Once the baseband has been flashed successfully, reboot your phone
Congratulations! You have just converted LG F180 to LG E975.

Other E975 Firmwares

Theoretically, flashing any of the E975 firmware from the page linked below should work for you. However we have not tested with any of these and can’t guarantee your success. If you feel brave enough, you can try to flash any of these firmwares on F180:

[Guide] How to Flash LG KDZ firmware file

How to Flash LG KDZ file Greater Then 1GB Offline 100 % Tested 2014 Solution
Method :

  1. Download the appropriate firmware file (link above) depending on the model number of your LG G2 and extract the ZIP (if applicable).
  2. Download and install LG USB Drivers on your computer: Download
  3. Make sure you phone has at least 70% battery juice.
  4. Enable USB Debugging on your device from Settings> Developers options. See detailed guide here.
  5. Download LG R&D Flash Tool and other files: LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix.zip (Mirror Link)
  6. Extract the ZIP file and open the unzipped folder. It contains all necessary tools and files.
  7. Also download this ZIP and extract it: LGMOBILEAX.zip (Mirror Link)
  8. Now open LGMOBILEAX folder and copy its contents in C:\ProgramData\ LGMOBILEAX on your computer. The path should be as shown in the picture below. If you get “Update R&D Tool” error later, delete the contents of C:\ProgramData\ LGMOBILEAX folderand copy the new files to this folder from LGMOBILEAX you downloaded at Step 7.
  9. Go to C:\Windows/System32/drivers/etc folder.
  10. Now right click the hosts file and open it with WordPad or NotePad++ (I used the latter).
  11. Now add the following line at the end of the document: 127.0.0.1 csmg.lgmobile.com
  12. Save the changes and close the hosts file. If you are unable to edit the hosts file, do this: go to Notepad or Notepad++ program and open it as administrator on your computer, navigate to the hosts file, add 127.0.0.1 csmg.lgmobile.com at the end and save the changes.
  13. Open LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix folder and install the msxml.exe file.
  14. Then open shttps folder and run http.
  15. Now start Windows Enabler and turn it on (system tray).
  16. Then launch UpTestEX_mod2_marwin.
  17. Now boot your LG G2 into Download Mode. To do this, turn off the phone, press and hold the Volume Up key and then plug the USB cable.
  18. As soon as your device get connected successfully LG R&D Test Tool will launch.
  19. Now click the folder icon at Select kdz file option and add the downloaded stock firmware with .KDZ extension.
  20. Then click the Normal web upgrade test button.
  21. You’ll see a new Read Phone Information popup window.
  22. Now click the Start Upgrade button.
  23. Just wait for a few seconds till you see another popup asking you to Select Country & Language.
  24. Finally, click OK to proceed with firmware installation.
  25. When the firmware flashing is done and your G2 boots up, do not forget to perform a factory reset. To do it, press and hold the Volume Down+Power buttons until you see the phone’s screen.
